OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, holistic, harm reduction counseling, therapy, and rehabilitation services that foster the success of individuals and communities. We promote healing and understanding, celebrating people for who they are, the gifts they possess, and supporting them as they work in them. We believe one can be brought out of the life’s burdens, paying forward compassion, faith, generosity, and empowerment - coming out of what one is going through, into the restoration of the birth of a new life. OUR VISION
Away of Change Counseling Service (AWOC) recognizes that individuals are unique and will benefit from a wide range of services including those that develop social and emotional skills. The purpose of AWOC is to impart specific skills and learning opportunities through personal/ social experiences in a proactive manner for all individuals. The comprehensive counseling encourages social and emotional change that can last a lifetime with an understanding of person-centered treatment that considers individual diagnosis, finances, medical and mental health, employment, psychosocial issues and readiness to change to increase coping skills, desire, improve self-image and self-worth.
OUR SERVICES
We offer a range of services including one-on-one coaching, group coaching, and workshops. These services are designed to help clients overcome obstacles, improve their mindset, and achieve their goals.
